Here is something that I read In a guide to get accepted in Google News...I just have a doubt if this will still work after post penguin and post panda.
"Press releases are written by companies that want to share information about them to the world. You
are free to copy and paste any of these press releases onto your site. We are going to grab quite a few,
but we are going to add them to your site systematically. Follow these instructions:
You are going to copy and paste at least fifteen press releases for each category that is on your site,"
What are your guys take on this??Will this effect my blog in a bad way?

If your website is only going to have press releases, it may not be accepted into Google News any longer. Forget press releases, Google is now clamping down on even regular media portals that do not have an established in-house editorial team and primarily use syndicated sources like Reuters, AP,etc.
