    is this good ?
having your articles published both on your website and on a digital publishing platform like scribd (high authority site, PR8) witch indexes the full content.
does google see it as duplicate content?
do you stand a chance in outranking them if you do a perfect on-page optimization!!
i'd love to hear your thought on this.

Why google doesn't see it duplicated content? Is digital publishing platform friend of google algorithm? Hope you understand. :)

Yes and you will maybe end up in a situation where google sees the article on scribd as the original and the one on your website as duplicate.

You could do a short summary of your article with a link back to it.

well, a lot of websites publish their content on scribd but you never run into it in the serp unless you're looking specifically for results on scribd (search query + site:scribd.com) and the content on their websites is always on top of the serp.

so i think what i'm talking about is considered copied content not duplicate content!! right? what does google think of copied content? because like i said a lot of websites publish their content on digital publishing platform but the original content always ends up on top of the serp.
