Will this help rankings?

    Something I just thought of. Maybe some of you have done this or tested this in the past.

    What if you get 100 or even 1000+ different IP addresses to go to google, type in your keyword, and click
    on your site. Do you think this would help with rankings at all?

    Because it would tell google that your site should be a priority when people search that keyword.

    Nope, did this ages ago, doesn't do anything at all (in almost any market).

    I was naïve when I was doing this. Thought it would have some correlation with rankings but it doesn't.

    What did you exactly do and what was the result?
