Get to know Google penguin 2.0 focus on the links-seller network, the buyer and seller will both get penalty by break of Google link guideline, there have news show several big link-seller network have got warning, is it true and what do you think ?

if it's true, what should we do ?

With Sape being as big as it is it's futile for Google to tighten the noose on paid link networks like Sape. Sites that are supported by these links WILL be hit in the coming months. Don't lie to yourself and have blind optimism.

SAPE in addition with other factors will probably do.

you must need to diversify your backlinks, if you have only sape links obviously you must have lot of cahnces to get in to trouble because of penguin.

Some part of Sape network is already deindexed by google few weeks back, they may even deindex more sites in coming days.

Oh look its this thread again  not one person on this forum (apart from google spys) have the foggyest notion what this update is targetting yet, when it is happening, how big it will be and so on, yet everytime there is any whispers of one everyone runs wild and assumes its targetting networks. Same thing happend 2 months ago when cutts tweeted about "russian link software" everyone shouted OMG sape is dead, sapes been working fine ever since then, people should actually analyze and test themselves rather than repeating what they read from idiots like Barry Schwartz etc because it just creates a ripple effect of bullshit.

This is the second thread about the same thing in the last 24 hours (shows cutts and the propaganda machine are doing their job well), I expect at least another 100 or so before the actual update happens and then it will be some other panic. Sites in sape lose PR and are deindexed regularly its been this way since I first used it, thats why I have my team run PR and indexing tests on our lists every 2-3 weeks. They are not going to take this out as it makes no sense another will just pop up and there are already lots of similar sites selling the exact same links sape sellers would just move there lol, if anything they are going to do something drastic devalue of footer links maybe who knows and who knows if thats what this stupid update is even about!?

Dont worry about it, as Tommy said Matt Cutts has already talked about Russian link networks before and they still work fine.

Many top ranking sites still use Sape and other networks.

You're right ^. It doesn't make sense for them to exclusively go after sape since there are hundreds of other networks selling the same footer and blogroll type links. They WILL do something though. Right now, this is the #1 form of spam that people are using. It's naive to think they will just shake it off and let it be. My guess is that they will algorithimically devalue footer/sidebar links and relevancy will become much more important. Just don't get off thinking in the back of your head that your sites that are supported by sape are going to make it past the slew of updates in the next couple months.

another gloom and doom thread :D

SAPE will stay strong for a long time yet I think. but if your site just has sape links it has a good chance of being penalised. not for having sape links but for only having one type of link.

its the same as it has ever been with penguin, just keep a diverse backlink profile and you will be fine.

will google focus all their efforts on trying to penalize SAPE? I think not, instead they are trying to promote sites with diversity and at the same time trying to scare people away from link networks like SAPE. google has known about SAPE for a long time and hasn't been able to do anything about it so far, so what makes it different now?

i believe most of the sape sites are either hacked, or malicious code injected via plugins themese etc

googles only way is if link is not visible to human clearly, just devalue it

Sape was deindexed in 2007, then in 2008, 2009 ... 2013. Don't let google to start thinking they did something wrong. :aetsch:

I'll be the first one to say it. All my sites with sape just did a wild bounce. Google just did a live test and the results are not so optimistic.

Around an hour ago for 60 seconds site using sape bounced -200 then bounced back. The sky is falling again, watch out guys.
