    Hi guys,

Just about time for bed here. I have 4 sites rented and it's doing well. However, I want to move on to some much higher paying industries/sites.

Right now I am earning avg. $300/site but I am looking at minimum $1,000/m+ per site but preferably $2,000/m+.

I am trying to brain storm and already have a few ideas. Things like personal injury lawyers etc but I want to hear from more people. Two brains are better than one.

So if you are in the same mindset as me and have already thought about some super high paying industries (does not need to be service based, can be high selling products where I could get leads for said product for businesses) then I would be interested in paying you for this information.

Of course, you can share for free but I am talking about potentially niches that people don't want to give up too easy. Hence, I will pay for them. Describe the niche and how much they can potentially earn from 1 good lead and any other info. and we'll talk!! :)

    Thanks!

Whats your secret krzysiekz. I tried the whole rent a site model with a site that I ranked number one for a VERY high paying product. I then tried cold calling business' to see if they were interested. I got some interest but nobody got back to me in the end. How do you go about getting clients?

Do I just need to phone a heck of a lot more people? I have to say, I quit after around 40 calls.

Here's the secret no one will tell you...

Find buyers before you build the sites... let them know you will have something ready for them in about 30 days. Only build what you've already sold. Just build one site, in the same niche in SOME city... then show them that one as the sample.

MagicMike - I was thinking to sell it before making it myself, but was just about to potentially start making some sites.

You see, I initially made around 5 or 6 site rentals in all different towns.

I have sent a letter (calling didn't seem to work well for me) to around 4 of those towns. Out of the 4 I tried to rent to, I got 1 rented. That 1 turned out good though as he got me another 1 rented and recommended me to a big company that is sending more referrals my way.

But I also rented 2 just from them finding my websites. Having someone BUY before making them is MUCH better. Now I've always got on the back of my mind my other un-rented sites, because I feel like it is a waste of effort.

I am probably going to mail out a ton of businesses and try and fetch around $1K+ per site.

I think MagicMike gave me the last confirmation that I need to get them rented before making the sites.

Although, the new sites I am planning to make are in huge city so there are heaps more businesses to mail out - therefore my chances are higher right off the bat with trying to rent them. With my initial 5-6 sites, there are like 15 prospects per town only.

I agree with this. I had a business willing to pay $1-2k before I even started building mine.

Granted, I am creating more of an authority site than a MNS so it will take longer. Either way, even if they can only afford a couple of months at that price (they want to try to do it going into Christmas season), it will have been worth the time and effort/money I put it in.

I could then try to find another large client as these are international KW I'm renting, not just local.

To confirm the general concept here:

    You're building:

    industrytownname (d0t) domain

Then sending them a letter and asking if they want to rent the site?

Do you send a letter to a handful of businesses in the area then deal with the most eager? Thanks guys.

That is pretty much spot on. Deal with anyone who shows interest. Depending on where you are, your town might have 10 prospects or 30 or 50 etc. The smaller, the more you need to ensure your mailing or calling or whatever it is that your doing, is top notch.

No room to mess up with 10 clients to pitch.

Thanks for the helpful response man. Thanks given. Been thinking of doing this for years (lazy bum here)....

Do you hint at/guarantee any SERP results. i.e Page 1. My caution is the say you register an EMD i.e (town-dentist) but it hangs at page 2. Is it worth investing time/money to get it to the top before any money has changed hands.

Well I've got 2 dentist sites that are ranking #1 for their main keyword which is also an EMD, but I need to start getting in contact with local dentists to see if anyone wants to rent. These sites are also ranking on page 1 (for other keywords as well) which in total has over 500+ exact match searches a month for each site. So far from checking my Awstats it's getting like 3-4 unique visitors a day.

Any pointers on how to get these sites rented asap?
