I need someone to help me with uploading a traffic trading script properly. I've been trying to get it to work for 2 days straight now and am about to start crying. I can't figure it out for the life of me.

It says to change the root to 777 before installation, but when i do that I get the following error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.14 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.14 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at porninup.com Port 80

I've tried it on 2 different hosts and it hasn't worked. I can set everything back to 777 after installation as long as I use 755 to install and it works fine (at least I can log into the backend, the script doesn't work/trade though)... that's why I'm so confused!

It only works when I have the root set to 755, and I think by having it set to 755 its not installing properly (eventhough it appears fine). I'm sure its not that hard of a problem to solve so maybe someone can post something here for free and I can see if it fixes it but if not I will pay for help... I'm about to rip my hair out.

Thanks in advance guys!

I believe it is something up with your .htaccess file. Maybe post a error log?

You get that error when you use 777permissions on shared servers. And you really don't need that kind of permission. Try 775.

Crap! I forgot about this thread, sorry.
Set map permissions to 755. Then inside the files set them all to 644, then install.
