    Hey buttmonk,

Don't want to take work from anyone here...but next time to save yourself some money you might want to check the fiverr dot com website where they do just about anything for five bucks.

Same here. Its a "need to know" when it comes to building web pages.

As an added plus, you dont have to give up your passwords. This is assuming you just have some html files and not running a DB. For $10 I suspect its just a simple site.

I'll explain briefly what you do

Get an FTP Client like "Core FTP Lite"

Get your ftp logon credentials from your host.

Put them into Core FTP Lite

You will be able to view your website files

Drag and drop everything under the public_html folder to your desktop. You will likely see an index.html file. This is the level you want to drag to your desktop. (Drag it into a new folder)

Get your new hosting account set up and then get the credentials for this server. Put the new credentials into Core FTP Lite. Drag everything from your "new folder" back into the public_html folder.

You will have to then write your host and get them to give you your DNS settings. Go to your registrar and tell them to forward your domain to the new DNS settings

Breif but I believe accurate. Most host will do this through a support ticket. I didnt want to explain the entire process but if you give it an hour to learn... you should be able to do it on your own.

    Cheers
