Will my network show the conversion if I rip a video?

    Hi,

    Two short questions:

    1) If I upload a video I did not produce myself but ripped from somebody else- Do the networks track the conversions? I mean sure, if I just rip an amateur review video they probably won't even notice that it's not selfmade. But what if I rip an interview with a celebrity, put my offer link and someone makes a conversion? Peerfly for example says clearly that we can only use videos we made ourselves. Will they track the conversions then?

    2) Do you guys only make/upload videos about your actual offer or also just interesting videos and put the offer link in it? The problem I see is that interesting videos (celeb interviews etc.) get a lot more clicks, but maybe not conversions because nobody who watched the video actually looks for email submits.. on the other hand videos about the actual offers just get a few clicks, so few conversions too.

    Thanks!

Networks don't care about what videos you use, UNLESS they are non-incentive networks and you are offering incentives.
