Just finished the keyword research for new Amazon affiliate website. It will have only 2 silos, since I couldn't find anything appropriate for a good third silo (enough searches, competition,...). All targeted keywords will be pretty low, maximum in keywordrevealer is 24. I hope that way I don't have to spend too much on off page SEO.

However, I am afraid the sites targets will be too modest. Here is how it will be set up:

    - silo 1: 16 pages, totalling 4500 monthly searches
    - silo 2: 15 pages, totalling 1500 monthly searches

Do you think only 6000 monthly searches for the entire site will be too low to make some money?
    Thanks!

    No.

People will search for specifics using long tail keywords too.

If you niche is Red Widgets, then you need to look at keyword results for Square Red Widgets, Best, Cheap, discount.
Then look at add on items, and build out from there.

Thanks, Mister F. I forgot to mention that all keywords indeed have buyer intent. Every keyword targeted by a page starts with best or ends in review(s). I just hope it will generate enough targeted traffic to make some money...

run with it for a for months and see what results you get back. If you are not getting the results you think you should have explore the question again. But do not let the fear stop you from moving forward.

The number of visitors to your site does not matter as much as the quality.

A site may get 50 to 100 visitors a day - but it may still outperform a site that gets 500 or even a 1000 visitors a day by a mile.

As long as your onpage SEO is extremely good, you should be able to easily rank for low competition keywords.

Amazon affiliate depend on a lot of different factors, such has product price, if the visits are low but still the product price is good you can make some cash, also run it for a couple of months and see if is worth it or not!

You should start from basic keywords, before running difficult keywords mate.

What's the average CPC value of the keyword(s)? In money terms, 1 sale worth $100 is the same as 100 sales worth $1 each. Without the dollar value of the keyword, you cannot really make revenue estimates.

Patience is the trait that is true for all successful entrepreneurs. You said all your words have buyer intent, so create smashing and persuasive content. Remember, you only need them to click :)

Start a PPC campaign bidding on those keywords and see what volume of clicks/impressions you get, then you'll have a rough idea of how much traffic there is.

From my experience, those keywords will be close to dead, maybe 20-30 clicks/day max.

You have to remember that 60% of that volume goes to Adwords and only about 40% goes to organic results...Sure if you combine hundreds of keywords, then it will eventually add up to decent numbers, but if you go only after 2 main keywords, then don't expect much.
