Will Local SEO only get harder and harder?

Saturation is a super relative phrase. There is still MASSIVE opportunity in the local space, it just depends on positioning. Businesses will hire based on results, so if you can deliver customers to them, it's an easy sell. Will western companies trust cold solicitations via email from firms in India? No way.

In a large US metro area, found a firm in the #1 result for "(city name) SEO". Did some research and found a recent bit of their local publicity, where they "bragged" that they are doing over $2M in sales.

Didn't research the entire page of vendors, but if that is representative, the market is wide open. If not, then one wonders about the ability of the rest.

Local SEO is not harder.
But you need to do all the things required to rank a website on local seo.

Like onsite,offsite,SMM, increase authority of citations.

Onsite seo factors like title,desp,meta tags,schema,nap,alt tags and many more things

Offsite SEO factors like maps citations,directory submisssion,data agregators,increase authority of citations,Web 2.0,bookmark video citations etc etc


Do all the things properly. You will rank easily.

Alot of companies online started to get a local web address for that purpose of seo

If it does get saturated (I don't think this will ever happen if you are always expanding, always innovating), you can always move East or South, and follow the economic trail.
