    Hi,

Will I loose my PR if I move from wordpress to Asp.net?
Actually with wordpress my site's landing page comes as : mysite.com

But with asp.net it'll come as mysite.com/index.aspx or mysite.com/home.aspx or whatever.

So, will this take away PR of my domain? It's currently PR2.

Any other way to make landing page as: mysite.com using asp.net?

    Thanks

    No, you won't.
Your site's page rank is based on the quality and quantity of your backlinks, not the engine your site runs on.
Your SERP positions could get affected but PR? NO!

My main concern was that all the backlinks created were pointing to root domain : mysite.com and now with the change of engine, my landing page would be mysite.com/default.aspx which will not ahve any backlinks pointing ot it.

    Anyways, thanks for responding.

Create an index.php file and put a 301 redirect from yourdomain.com to yourdomain.com/default.aspx - you should be all set.

You can do that with your htaccess file too.
