I am planning a new way to output content on my site. I am not able to post articles everyday since I'm in school and can't dedicate my time to write a ton of them (I'm also broke so I can't buy articles).

To keep my blog updated frequently, I was thinking of embedding infographics from other sites (that allow you to embed it to your own site) as new posts and schedule so that I'm outputting 4-5 posts/week.

Even though its an infographic from another site and they allow sharing, will I get a penalty for duplicate content?

My site has all unique content so far and I will be uploading more articles whenever I get time.

Your best bet is to spend some free time, write a bunch of articles, and then schedule them (assuming your site isn't time-sensitive). Infographics aren't likely to adversely affect you (or get you penalized), but they're not going to help either (Google isn't parsing images).

Yes, the best way is to spend some time in writing contents yourself. Have great insights, you can do whatever you want to. If you make writing a practice from this age, I'm sure you can make some great piece of articles in future or may be you can become a great author.

Writing an article or two articles weekly is enough and good. Don't use auto posting aka robot - this is not needed.

I guess nothing can help without a bunch of High Quality articles on any blog. You must spend a good time like 2-3 days and create good amount of contents and schedule them. These can only reduce your threat of getting penalty.

There is no such thing as duplicated content penalty, someone just has to rank nr 1 and someone else nr 2. According to matt cutts that is.

I think you should publish at least 1 UNIQUE post per week..may be if you don't have enough time to create tons of posts. We should do those things only which help us to gather traffic to our site/blog. I don't think infographics will work that much for you.

You probably won't get a G penalty, but that's the point? G won't love it either. Just write when you can.

I don't think your site will be flagged at all -- Write some fresh amazing contents as soon as you get the time

Infographics are pictures and mostly are image files. They will be treated as image by search engines. Its the content which you write that matters and shows up on search engine. Unless you are targeting google pictures, it is of no good to my knowledge.

Big G Love only Quality content rather than Quantity. So when ever you have a time try to post a unique content...Weekly once is enough..
