my friend is telling me that hes already made about 100-300 a day by using parked.com to go to certain sites. he has some program which changes the IP, and hes already been paid quite a lot.

im wondering though what is the worst they could do.. if its not paying you, i can live with that.. but if they figure out some how and actually come sue you or you are in trouble with the law i dont know how down i am for that.

i do a lot of whitehat seo and ppc, and im new this sort of seedy stuff.. i love it ;) getting dirty is what i do, why not do it with marketing as well lol

What your friend is doing is click fraud - it is against the agreement with the domain parking company - worst case they can sue for fraudulent clicks plus damages plus court costs

What worse they can do is send you a warning and ban you and not pay you. who will take a trouble of suing for some 100$ bucks.

The more money your friend makes the higher the odds - people using fraudulent clicks to make just a little bit of money are harder to catch if they leave fewer footprints and usually they only get banned if caught - people making a lot of money are a danger to the network's business model and if they get caught networks can try to make an example out of them to keep other people from trying

I don't know what is a lot to parked.com. Maybe your friend is really clever and can avoid getting caught - but no technique is totally foolproof so the more he does it the riskier it gets and if he does get caught the company will investigate all past earnings. You said he was earning up to $300 a day - that is $9,000 for a month - over $100,000 for a year - somewhere along the way it turns into a lot

the point is that they can suspect all they want but without hard proof they're fucked. foolproof = new proxy + cleared cookies/cache + random browser agent for each click.

the proxies should be residential on a non standard port. Do these things and who cares if a year down the line they see you've ripped them off for 1,000,000. they're fucked with no proof.

    such is black hat.

Now there's an idea for a program that clicks on all your parked pages ads.

    what does residential mean?

and what is a nonstandard port? i know what a port is briefly, but it was my understanding that if youre using a browser its prolly going to use the same port?

I m sure they will hunt you down in the near future. After all, some proxies are traceable. Try a bit of Google, and U can get loads of information there.
But uve got an upper hand, most of the online users dont know these things for sure.!

Knowing you cheated is one thing but proving you did it personally is a different story. Now a days so many infected computers do work the user never knows, play dumb on any calls you get. Always act like you know nothing about a computer when your ISP or whoever else calls, what can they say.
