I dont think getting 100-200 comments in an hour for any website is good idea for SEO if you are building them even manually to your main website directly.... Instead my vote will go to tiered link building/ Contextual links.I usually outsource it, but if I was to do it myself, and say I did 100-200 comments in an hour, all manual, and all related to the topic, from my own IP. Would I get flagged as spam?
When you say "Manual" and "related" you are talking about white hat. So no, not atall!
EDIT: btw, I am not sure how you manage to post 300 "related" comments in an hour though.
It's not about the quality of the posts or the anchor texts. If you link to the same site from 100 comments in an hour, Akismet usually bans you.
Most of BHW pushed it to those limits and then some when Scrapebox came out.
