I usually outsource it, but if I was to do it myself, and say I did 100-200 comments in an hour, all manual, and all related to the topic, from my own IP. Would I get flagged as spam?

Change the comment on every blog. Don't use same comment . Vary alt text . You will be safe. If you want further details of how to change the comment easily PM me.

Well, I specifically said, all manual, all related to the topic.

If they are genuine manual comments on blogs that aren't filled with spam then I wouldn't imagine you will have any problems. Make sure you actually interact with the content posted in the blog entry, otherwise you might get in trouble. Personally I would avoid outsourcing, in case the person was to cut corners.

Even if they were related & you use the same comment & same anchor text you will be in risk of penguin

The same IP and a big amount of comments. Thats good, cause you are writing these comments with your own hands, but the other side is MAYBE you have a really great new technology bot made up for writing these comments (this is how security or blog owner might think about). Maybe you should write up comments and have a break for some day or change the comment amount. Im worrying that your work might be treated as bot, cause this is a large amount.

If it's related to the content, and you are doing it all manually.
Then I highly doubt you would get any penalty from it.

I would test this on a site before doing it against a money site. You might run the risk of getting flagged by askimet (as opposed to Google) by submitting 100 comments per hour. Maybe, maybe not.

Im not sure if your asking will your ip flagged as spam or comment

Well, if you post legitimate comments with real content you'll be fine. But there's no way you are going to post 100 comments in an hour that isn't going to look like spam and comments that the blog owner isn't going to want on their blog.

Don't post something on someone else's blog that you would delete on your own blog.

I dont think getting 100-200 comments in an hour for any website is good idea for SEO if you are building them even manually to your main website directly.... Instead my vote will go to tiered link building/ Contextual links.

It's not about the quality of the posts or the anchor texts. If you link to the same site from 100 comments in an hour, Akismet usually bans you.

Most of BHW pushed it to those limits and then some when Scrapebox came out.

Thanks, that's what my concern was. I'm not too familiar with how Akismet worked, so I wasn't sure how the flagging process worked.

When you say "Manual" and "related" you are talking about white hat. So no, not atall!
EDIT: btw, I am not sure how you manage to post 300 "related" comments in an hour though.

Yeah I was just giving a rough estimate, over exaggerating to get the point across.
Anyways, I'll slow it down just to be safe. I just wanted to know if there was a concern.

Absolutely...

sure coz other guys will spam to these pages later, they will be spam pages and your links were there

I won't risk the money site on this one bud...

But you could get away with it for a longer period, that's for sure.

Make sure you are diversifying the urls and anchor text you are using for the backlinks.

Dont just spam with the same anchor text and linking to your homepage.
