Will I be a DENTIST or an IM guru-Follow my journey!<Journal>

Hey guys,
This is going to be the most important journal of my life. The purpose of this thread is to motivate me to keep working hard towards my goal, gain advice/ideas from BHW members and motivate others.

Background info:I am currently doing my internship as a dentist and finish in 5 months. Pay as a new dentist is literally SHIT in India. I can expect a salary between $100-200 working full time(PER MONTH). I aim to earn $20-50 per day on auto pilot before I finish. This will financially secure me and financially power me to marry my current Fiance.Don't get me wrong.I like my profession but with crap pay like that, who would want to work?

What I have done/will do:

-I have a dental website. It is 2 years old, has some decent backlinks build to it and around 30-40 well written articles on it,Gets around 100 hits a day. I intend to develop this.

-I run a link building service on another IM forum. I intend to use this money towards funding my other projects. Don't have many clients, got a good client and earned around $600 in total till now.

-I have written an ebook on CPA approval for international people.I intend to sell it on other black hat forums but dont have the know-how to do it.

-I intend to launch a SEO service website targeting towards dentists and outsource the work. But, Im not sure how to go about this, what terms to target etc.

I am going to update with strategy for each one of these as I develop them in an organized manner.

As of now, I am focussing on my dental website.
These are my targets
-Post 30-40 unique articles per month
-Rekeyword research and selecting few keywords to target
-Link building campaigns which include reverse engineering competitors backlinks, guest posting, tier 1 and 2 backlinks.

$100-200 per day? Week? Either way that sucks. Sounds like you should be able to supplement it w IM income though, hopefully you love dentistry enough to keep doing both.

i guess he is talking abt 100-200 a week, 100-200 per day is pretty awesome in India and perhaps everywhere no?

My friend just graduated dental school in May, her gig pays $120k/year. From what I know though dentists and doctors are paid way more in the States than they are anywhere else.

I have edited the thread.. Guys its per fuking month.. I repeat.. Per $100-200 MONTH as a dentist starting out..This is in India..

I need to make atleast $600-1K per month to justify leaving my profession and working on IM...

I guess I spoke too quick, $100-200/day wouldn't be bad at all in many parts of the world

The cost of school is also huge though in the States, not to mention how much more strict the requirements are and how competitive the field is.

Holy crap, are you serious, $100-200 a MONTH for a dentist? What a jip. Def work on the IM then and switch ASAP, is my vote.

200 a day = 0.3 million per month in our currency

If I were you I would spend 3-4 years of my life racking up funds and building the most kick-ass dentistry clinic in New Delhi.

Not only that IM is crap when it comes to personal value as a human being, but if you do believe in anything and you want to have a meaning, a career as an implant specialist or oral surgeon, or even researcher is your best way in life.

To the day, no IMer has ever received a statue; statues mark turning points in history, and for the ordinary peer, their channel is engineering, medicine, technology. Not Internet marketing.

I am not going to quit my profession completely.
Like I said, if I can earn over $1k monthly on autopilot, ill be financially stable.

I can study further, work part time too...but do IM for the money..

There was a story in HeavyHitters magazine about a dentist that went to IM. Read it.

That's pretty harsh, bro.

By your logic all people who do sales, are lawyers, finance and a ton of other careers are worthless human beings.

IM doesn't have to be the only thing you do in life. You can make the $ in it and then do something else more fulfilling with the $ (or volunteer in causes you believe in in spare time).

Besides, you're suggesting him to save up funds, but at $100/month that will take him a LONG time (not sure if he has loans on top as well). IM can afford him freedom to do what he wants (which ultimately can be starting the best clinic in New Delhi, as you suggested), but it doesn't sound like he'd be able to do that any time soon with being a dentist as his $ maker.

Like said, spend some years, but do it for something that's really worth it.
I'm here for money too. But in some time I'd definitely be doing something a lot more legitimate than this.

What you really need to do is come to the US and be a dentist. They make great money here.

IM is as legitimate as you make it. You can help people find the information they are looking for or rip them off. It's all about how you use the tools you have. Just cause you are on a blackhat forum dose not mean we are ripping people off. We are here to learn how to gain weight in information systems. I feel the blackhat part of blackhat world is learning how to leverage the system to our advantage.

Exactly. I have several friends who run legitimate whitehat SEO companies who read this and other BH forums. There's different BH too, there's what I would call ethical BH, where you sort of take shortcuts to get Google rankings for instance, but ultimately it's up to the consumer to buy any product or click any links on your site. Then there's just straight up fraud, like faking referrals, etc. I think most people on this forum do not participate on the latter.

yeah salary is really shit nowadays.Unless you hop onto MNC companies and work 12 hours a day and earn 500$ per month.

For a fresher in biomedical engineering they pay only 150$ per month.

@OP i hope you can use marketing tactics from this forum and promote yourself well as you gain more experience.
