Will fiverr gigs get you penalized ? I do not think so. Will they help with ranking ?

    I am wondering about this.

My sites got mainly penalized by penguin update through to much main keyword anchor text usage, but i used fiverr before and had pretty sustainable rankings. Obviously i do not purchase something like 20,000 Blog Comments or 20,000 Xrumer Profiles for my money site.

    But you know.

You can purchase here on BHW or on WF services for 30$ where you pay 5$ on fiverr. If you browse every seller for a 100% rating, level 2 and no negative feedback at all, i think it is no that bad. You can also just give them your own article or get one written or even get a quality writer who can create an 100% spun article for you, you can get this outside of fiverr or whatever. But i mean you just pay 5 dollars, when you think outside the box, even if they are not that high quality, you can just purchase 5 more gigs and this will have an effect for sure and it is still cheaper than anywhere else, if you can put your own article in it. What is really the difference ? So far i have seen that, the service that cost way more than fiverr gigs have quality articles and nice human readable spinning, so i am wondering.

I would enjoy collecting some opinions about this.

Depends on the gigs and depends on what you use the gigs for, your question is too generalized. Of course there are quality fiverr gigs out there but there are also 10x crappy ones. If your sites gets penalized is kinda your fault for not going by the rules of at least anchor diversification that applies to last updates, for many spam links still work because they know how to make them work.

I'm going to say that, usually, you get what you pay for. The BHW gigs are not the 'exact' same gigs that fiverr has, there are usually manual elements which make it a higher quality offer.

I'm sorry but the gig won't penalize anyone, the greed and stupidity will (seo is looking more and more like forex). The review system on Fiverr will help you just to avoid scammers, it doesn't mean the gig is good and it will help with your rankings...

    I present you:
The Ultimate SEO Guide using Fiverr Gigs:

    1. Search for gigs based on rating (It will help you sort the scammers)
    2. Carefully read the gig description (if you spot spelling mistakes in an article writing gig then you will know from the start to avoid it)
    3. Ask questions to the seller, the response time and the answer itself are crucial (If the response is "Please sir order my gig now".. i think you know what I mean)
    4. Test the gig on a dummy website (it's a must!) - if you aren't satisfied it's ok, be grateful that it costs only $5
    5. Sort the quality gigs that you think they will be safe to link directly back to your website
    6. Use low quality gigs for 2nd, 3rd, 4th tiers (never directly to your website)

    • Thanks Thanks x 2

i would never user ANY gig on my website i care about. Even some of those guys might be reputable, quite frankly they don't give a ratty fcuk about your website.

All those most popular seo gigs are performed by softwares and it is very easy to mess it up and get your website into big trouble

It really depends what you buy on Fiverr! definitely if you buy 20K blog comments and direct them to your money page then you are gone.

Most buyers have very low expectations on Fiverr and write feedback right after they have received gigs. Not too many of them take the time to wait a couple of weeks to see if there was any benefit. Not much one can expect for 5 bucks imho.

I usually scroll through all ratings and look for more detailed ratings like if someone moved to page one or so.
U usually also see some positive ratings where someone has written something like "the quality of the articles is low but i mean it is only 5 bucks", or sometimes i even read something like "the gig was bad, but i do not want to give a bad review."

You have to analyze very well.

Any more details on this? I have used that seller for some things in the past like their social bookmarking gig. I don't expect much from fiverr but did you have a specific problem with them?
