I tried blanking the referral and I'm wondering if it will limit the amount of conversions I receive.

Do the networks/advertisers scrub the leads if their are no referral source?

    OR doesn't that really matter?

Only one way to find out is to split test and try it. Even if we say yes or no. Would that set your mind 100% at ease?

    TEST TEST TEST

I've found that many places blanked referral traffic will end up with no or little conversions. I now blank and then fake the referrer,

Blanking has always worked fine for me with BH and WH traffic.

What you need to be aware of when you blank the referrer is that it doesn't work on all browsers. That's why you need to do a double meta refresh. Read the details here:

    Code:
    http://www.ppc-coach.info/double-meta-refresh-tutorial-hide-your-traffic-sources
A double meta refresh makes sure that the referrer is blank before it sends the visitor to your offer. If the referrer isn't blank as would be the case if the visitor is using a browser like opera or safari, it doesn't send the visitor to your offer.

That's the reason why you lose some of your conversions when you blank the referrer with a double meta refresh.

Some of the CPA Networks do MIND blanking referrer. Check first.

As for the scrubbing of leads WITH blanking your referral, well got to do a quick test then you know WHICH network shave u the most.

Please whether blanking or not of your referral, 99% your leads will get SCRUB.
