    Hi.. simple question..

lets say your keyword is "lollypop"

will lollypop-info(.)com/lollypop/ rank as good for this keyword as just lollypop-info(.)com

What i am trying to say is, if my domain contains a keyword, and my article's permalink contains the same word, will that have any negative seo effects or rank worse?

no the issue is that my main article doesnt show adsense when its set as homepage.
but when its not set as homepage it does, some weird wordpress fckup that even the developer of the theme cant fix for me.

so the question was, if i leave the article not as homepage but as a /article/ after the domain, will it be still indexed as high as normal if i build my backlinks with the full link instead only domain?

In a perfect world it wouldn't matter, however in my experience homepages/root URLs rank better than inner pages on non-authority sites. I would just use another theme that works properly or figure out the issue. If Adsense doesn't work properly with the theme who knows what other failures are in that code.

    Home Page:
Shorter is better, from a ranking point of view. The front page of any site is going to rank better because it is the front page, and that's just the way these things work. For that reason I'd look for another way of going about things, finding a way that Adsense can be on the front page. It might mean getting a new theme that actually works, but the long and the short of it is that the inner page is never going to outrank the parent URL.
