Those dickheads are copying my blog content. It is creating duplicate issue, so how to file DMCA against them?

Not sure but since anyone can post on wikipedia you can just delete it yourself. If there is alot of duplicating going on I would suggest you indeed DMCA them and find some help deleting your duplicates.

In my logical opinion, what they are doing is the same as this: copying your posts and putting them in a forum thread as if they were their own.

What if you ask them instead to site your blog as the reference? I'm not sure if that will resolve the duplicate content issue, but wouldn't that be a good backlink to have?

Yes ^^. Just go in, edit the content and use your site as reference. I think you can leave notes for other editors as well as to why you edited. Just explain it. If you go in and just put your link someone will probably delete it.

1. You should be flattered.
2. You are overlooking a potentially high PR backlink.
3. Your approach will waste that link and the resulting traffic source too.

I doubt they gave him a backlink otherwise he wouldn't be mad lol. Wikipedia copying your text IS bad because they are so highly trusted by google that your own site might then be viewed as the duplicate. I wouldn't want it for me.

I don't understand your logic behind the link and the traffic source, first of all I bet OP's site is pretty unpopular for it to give him traffic from Wikipedia, apart from that his page has PR 0/10, the link juice is extremely small, take all the domain link juice and divide it by the number of wikipedia outbound link which is enormous, including interlinks as well, I am pretty sure it sums up less than a normal PR2 backlinks with 15 OBL.

WTF has happened to BHW? Wikipedia adds no follow tags to all external links, meaning absolutely no link juice is passed, making the link pointless. Just remove the content and tell them why you did so.

Just because a link is nofollow, doesn't mean it's pointless.

It doesn't pass any link juicy but. The comment above said because of all the OBL there will be hardly any juicy. Just dumb people an their logic...

From my understanding, and this goes back to some guys I know from here years ago who hunter Wikipedia links like mad, there IS a great benefit to getting a Wikipedia backlink. Not saying it will make you rank alone, but I'd rather have it than a PR5 PBN link any day.

I like links from Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is the most-read site on the Internet.

Them worthless links get clicks.
