Sometimes when I'm visiting wikipedia.org, I accidentally type in wikpedia.COM. For the past week or so, I've noticed that wikipedia.COM was redirecting to a email/zip submit offer. As of today, it's now redirecting to wikipedia.ORG, but I was just wondering what was up. Did someone change the redirect for the .COM? Or do you think that the real site accidentally let it expire and someone started redirecting all that traffic. All I know is that with as popular as that site is, whoever was redirecting to their affiliate link was probably making a killing off of that stupid little zip submit. And I actually don't see why they didn't make their squeeze page look more official. Maybe iframe the actual site and have a "top banner" that says - "we're giving away a free ipod".
