Hi fellas,
I have got 2 questions which I hope one of you could help me with them :D
1. I have heard that wiki links are a great way to add diversification to the backlinking. with which software can I post to wiki sites? do you need to post spun articles or comments?
2. Should I point the wikis the my money site or the the buffer sites(first layer)

Thanks friends! :)

I got a software I bought on warriorforum, but you're better off buying a $5 gig on fiverr. Plenty of wiki site gigs on there. I'm of the opinion that if the article is good enough it can be used for your money site. Some might disagree here. I usually start with an original piece, spinn it good, make it 400+ words, throw in an image and use no more than 2 url?s inbody

hi m8,

1. Yes it's best to diversify your back links with all kind of links you can get....and wiki also counts. I got my personal VA that does that for me, but there are softwares that can help you.
2. You can point them directly to money website, no worry

Ineffective links from most of these wikis simply takes away time from building links that will help you rank. I've used various software titles direct to money sites, tier 1, tier 2, etc and it has not done any good at all.

what software do you guys use for wiki links?

anybody else knows if it's worth doing or not?
and with which software can you do that?

Thanks!

I gotta agree with ASSPHUCK, there are alot of fishes in the sea, why go after the minnows even if you do have a net.

but from what I have heard the Wiki pages can give you a great authority that will increase your page rank and therefore rankings.. then, it's not true?

PR does not influence the ranking ...backlinks does and you get them. so go for it as everybody does.

Wiki Links certainly help as most of the sites dont have these types of backlinks
so you get a superior hand in Backlink Diversity.

some of you say that it's worth but other say that it isn't
from what I did understand till now is that most of them are no follow and with low linkjuice and PR.
but the question is, if G loves them that much that it's worth to use them? thanks!

I'd say it is worth it. IP diversity, link type diversity and in-content links.

I've had some very positive results from building wiki backlinks.

Yes, they are great for diversification of your backlinks. Google loves Wikis, for one reason that mostly are high PR and high authority (edu/gov) and have loads of content pages.

For posting, I prefer custom coded tool.

Yes, ideally, you should spin the content since this leaves minimal footprint for Google. If you don't spin, it won't have much of a negative effect if your site/URL already has a diverse backlink 'bucket'.

2. Should I point the wikis the my money site or the the buffer sites(first layer)

Either is good. I have done both (for my sites, and clients' sites) and both work around good. Just make sure you don't spam a single Wiki page with 10's of links back to your site.

Hey guys what's the freaking code to post images on wikis?

[[File:filename.extension|options|caption]]

Code:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Images#Syntax

It's showing as a link. No image.

Any solution? Also keep in mind most of us are posting the the user page on a wiki and NOT an actual wiki entry. I have NEVER seen a wiki software that can create actual wiki entries, or edit entries.

Mine does it. It can post both to userpages and create entries, which we usually call title pages.
