why??

i saw a few things on the freebies section. Giving away 500 twitter followers.... Why do people want this? they are all "Fake" or "bots" correct? so what is the draw? Is it so real people who visit your feed see you have a LOT of followers and decide to follow as well?

Fake followers make your profile look more credible. Who would you be more likely to follow back? A profile with 9 followers or a profile with 9000 followers? Many of the people you see giving stuff like that away are just doing it in an attempt to promote their own paid services that they offer here. Nothing wrong with that though. If they're giving away free shit I can't knock em'
