Great minds, I need your help or advice. I have a http://www.youtube.com/@MakeMD-official on YouTube . Until the end of March, everything was going great. There were video views and subscriptions. Most of the views were in the "Suggested videos" category because YouTube was actively suggesting new videos to different viewers. From the beginning of April to this day, YouTube no longer actively suggests videos. Until April, YouTube gave an average of 10-20k suggestions to viewers. Since April, everything has dropped to 100-300. Maybe you know what could be the reason and how to fix it? I would be very grateful for your advice.

It's possible that a small change caused YouTube to re evaluate your entire channel. Have you checked your audience retention and click through rate recently

Maybe this is due to the fact that one of the videos gained 30k+ views but subsequent videos gained significantly fewer?

Why YouTube May Have Dropped Suggesting This Channel:
  1. Low Watch Time & CTR
  • Niche topics attract smaller, more focused audiences.
  • If average view duration is short or viewers don't click on thumbnails, YouTube limits recommendation reach.
  1. Niche Content, Limited Reach
  • Tech content like Obsidian and Markdown appeals to a select user group.
  • Recommendation algorithms favor broad-appeal topics unless channel has strong engagement metrics.
  1. Inconsistent Uploads & Video Types
  • Mixing tutorials with music mixes can dilute audience targeting.
  • Inconsistent upload schedules or variable formats may confuse recommendation modeling.
  1. Highly Competitive Niche
  • Productivity/tech tutorials are competitive on YouTube.
  • To stand out, metadata, thumbnails, and audience retention need to be exceptionally strong.
If MakeMD aligns content to target audience, sharpens presentation, and pushes consistency, YouTube can start resurfacing videos in suggestions again.
