Why you DESERVE to have your Pinterest Accounts banned, and what you can do to avoid it!

    OK Pinterest Bros (And Sis's),

The reason why so many people are getting banned is because of the huge footprints they're leaving. This is usually because of one of 4 things:

    1. You're logging into multiple Pinterest accounts from the same IP: The maximum safe number is 3 accounts from 1 IP, preferably Elite Private Proxies

    2. You're blatantly copy boards in their entirety between accounts Cloning Boards is a big No-no. Ideally, each account should be making its own unique boards. Even copying board names is a bad idea. You shouldn't have 5000 accounts all with a board named "Kitties LOL :D". If you want 1000 boards on cats spread between your 1000 accounts, don't name them all "Kitties! LOL :D". Instead, name each one something different but still related to the category like: {Kitties!|I love cats!|....}, etc.

    3. You're growing your accounts WAY too fast by making the accounts follow each other too quickly. Having your accounts follow each other back is an excellent idea to build the reputation of each account, but remember to only start making the accounts follow one another after each account has had time to gather some content (within the scope of the rules listed above), like one week later. And SLOWLY. Each account should only follow/be followed by a maximum of I'd say about 50 other fake accounts per day, which should be selected randomly from between your accounts. It can't be something obvious: Like following in alphabetical order or some other stupid idea like that.

    4. You're posting CPA/Adsense sites incorrectly. Here's the deal: Reposting the same crappy CPA offer, with the same obvious link between 1000 accounts is definitely going to get your ass banned. It's not about cloaking to avoid having the link getting picked off by their algorithms. It's about the fact that you have 1000 accounts ALL having the same picture with the same link pointing to the same URL (Hello? Obvious much?). Which leaves you with 1 of two options (which you should alternate between):

    a. BUFFER YOUR WEBSITE: Instead of linking to the landing page with your CPA offer directly (as so many people do), have around 10-20 .info domains on hand all pointed 301-redirecting towards your CPA offer (With different, but related pin pictures). This way, it look like a trend, instead of 1000 people posting the same thing at the same time. You can easily do this with WP Multisite.

    b. Pin ONCE; Then repin: If you can't be bothered to do the above procedure just yet, then Pin the CPA offer ONCE, and repin it from the rest of your accounts. (To avoid rousing suspicion, only Repin from your other accounts that are currently following that account).

This is why so many people are being banned. If you don't take the time to do this, then frankly you DESERVE to be banned!

Also, don't listen to anybody telling you that Pinterest traffic isn't worthwhile. If we can monetize Twitter traffic, we sure as hell can monetize Pinterest.

    Good Luck Folks!

I am seeing great results with just using pinterest as a pastime. Log in, pin about 10-20 random things a day and it keeps on growing followers and amassing repins. I honestly think the key is in witty comments on other peoples pins. Idk it is working for me, already have 1k+ followers and about 500+ pins in a couple months.

I have built a few niche followings that I already have perfect sites built for so I will move in for the attack like a ***** or n.i.n.j.a.

1 pinterest account FTW!!! LOLZZZ ;b

I agree, the 1 account/handful of accounts school is also another way to go. Whichever works in making money for you, go for it! :D

Obvious yes, but isn't it Oh SO TEMPTING to just slap the same boards on the same accounts, have all you accounts follow the CRAP out of all the other accounts and call it a day?

It's not my place to speak for others, but you know what the number one cause of failure for me as an internet marketer is? It's not lack of knowledge, it's not procrastination or not taking action, it's IMPATIENCE.

I want to see results YESTERDAY, which just doesn't cut it in most cases.

Mostly everything in the above post can be summed up in: "TAKE YOUR TIME!"

    Or whatever... :p

    So true!

I had 280 accounts, all with the same board name, and most of the pins were the same in all 280 (same linking to my website, to the content so when people repin it, it would have carried my product's URL link).
I just came home from work to find out all my accounts were banned, even my main account. I was starting to get some decent traffic from Pinterest and definitely was coming to the conclusion to make every account seem real and not fake, but when it hit me, it hit me hard, I thought too late and my conclusions arrived at the same time Pinterest's conclusions came that I was spamming. I have my URL blocked from pinterest and all my 280 accounts with at least 100+ followers each SUSPENDED.

PATIENCE! as mentioned above is key! IMPATIENCE will get your butt spammed and your URL blocked from pinterest. Spread your likes, comments and repins

Few questions hopefully someone can join in and give me some light on this (I'm pretty new and willing to learn the curves) I have a very unique niche, (I basically design shirts, and print them myself, also I sell them online, all original artwork all done by me)

?I read somewhere that it only lasts a few weeks (they banning your URL), is that correct?
?Can Pinterest ban Etsy shops? or storenvy shops? Big cartel? etc?
?What about blog pages with certain products on the blog? Can they block those links as well?

Any input and advice greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Can you do this with a website that has been banned from Pinterest?
