    Hey guys

It's strange, but when i use Yoast's Title and Meta-Description fields (for Homepage) I still can't see proper title and descr. in Google Search

Though it works properly for FB or Twitter or other social media thumbnails...

Did you set everything right? This is the first time am seeing issues like this with Yoast.

But i guess, most times certain themes do play huge roles in determining the seo of websites. which themes are you using?

This is something tricky. You may set the exact title you want, but Google will end up changing it for "user experience" reason. It happened with one of my amazon site. For some reason, they modified the Title and description of my site, in relation to the search query. Quite a strange behavior.

That's because it takes a while to take effect on Google.

Yoast SEO does display everything you put.

If you changed it, and then went immediately to Google to check it out, you won't see it because it takes time for it to update. Google has to re-crawl your website and notice the new title and description, and only then will it update. Takes around 3-5 days.

I doubt it's what he meant. But in any case, check the cached version and go into the source code to see the last time google crawled your page.

Google will always look for the user convenience factor.
So,Google will check your titles and meta description is relevant or not.
Although it's relevant Google will change it sometimes for the user to make click on your site.
I think you can use this tag to prevent Google from making changes on your titles and meta description.
