Why would you stop making videos if you've made 1.2 billion views?

So this channel name Mr. Tfue who seems to be from southeast asia somewhere living in the jungle area
and he basically builds cool swimming pools in natural from the dirt/ground, nothing high tech...just very cool
innovative projects and he has accumulated over 1.2 billion views in his 20 videos over the past 2 years.
He has 6.5 million subs, but his last video was posted 9 months ago. He has a tiktok as well that also last
updated 9 months ago. Using the formula of $2000 USD per 1 million views from adsense, he has made
about $2.5 million USD (assuming he's monetized).

I have found occasionally there are channels like this who have done very well for themselves but for whatever
reason they just stopped making videos for a long time (usually a year or longer). It makes me wonder if something
happened to them (ie. tragic death, health or injury, other) especially when they are in parts of the world where
the Western world doesn't really follow or report on. If a famous youtuber died in North America, it'd be all over
the news. I'm sure he's alive and maybe something with his health or maybe he's just tired but I wonder why
one would stop doing something that he's so good at and everyone wants/demands for more and you could make
millions of dollars doing it. Why would he stop?

Maybe he decided to retire. $2.5 million is a lot of money, especially in Southeast Asia. If you invest it you can withdraw $100k a year without ever running out of money. If he doesn't like what he's doing anymore and has enough money it might not be worth it for him to continue doing it while he could just be enjoying his life instead.

Maybe he's dead. In 3rd world countries, you can do anything you want with that money. You won't need to work any more. Also no need to upload new video anymore. Uploaded videos are already earning him a regular income. Of course, with new videos, this income can increase. You don't know what's going on. Maybe she's living her life.. :)

Dude, this guy is swimming in money :) this video is close to half a billion views

Maybe emotional burnout or smth. I know a lot of channels that stopped making video when they were at the top of their career of this reason. They were just tired of making the same content everyday. Or maybe they've earned enough money for leaving

Making those videos is not easy. He's probably content with the money he made already.

Perhaps be that million, billion (or trillion) views YouTuber has finally felt "I've had enough" and is now happily living a calm, peaceful, healthy retired life.

Are you not the same person who is against blackhat methods and always claiming they don't work for TikTok and YouTube? Yet here you are on a forum called Blackhat World.

maybe a family issue ? u never know
could be. It's just such a head scratcher. If you're sitting on a lottery ticket and you don't cash it....it makes you wonder why? And if there was some issue like family or personal health, they usually will update their followers to tell them what happened and by doing so they would get even MORE support and probably massive donations too financially. The fact he's just gone quiet for almost a year when his videos can get 400 million views each baffles me why he gone. And youtube keeps promoting his videos putting it on recommended even though he hasn't uploaded a video in 9 months. Proves again you don't have to even upload videos to go viral. You don't have to do anything to go viral. Youtube just promotes your video in front of millions of eyes and some will click and you get millions of views.

He probably thinks he's making enough money. $2.5 million, in a third country, and can live a very good life

Someone better hid this video from those History Chanel Scientists, or they might say it was made by Aliens.

Sometimes people lose the organization of their video production team

From the looks of his videos, I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a team. There's very little to no editing, special effects, etc. It looks like he just props the camera in some positions and leaves it while he works. It's something that I'm sure even a novice could make themselves (the video part). But good point.

Agreed, but why stop there? It sure looks like he has a passion for it. The amount of time and effort it takes to make these beautiful pools I think one could only do it if they really enjoyed doing it. Once you've tasted how good it is to be rich, you usually can't just stop and be satisfied. 2.5 million even in a 3rd world country will eventually not be enough. His appetite would grow far bigger and he'd want more money.

You are right, but those amount of views he got with only 16 videos could make you think that he is losing a backup right now.

and another curious thing is why Youtube keeps promoting his videos even though he hasn't uploaded in 9 months! Most of his subs and views are probably coming long after his last video upload.

I mean, this is a great residual income if anyone is actually cashing in on it.......or maybe he isn't. Maybe Youtube or some ad companies are cashing in on his videos and using his videos to make money off his videos! I bet that's how youtube also works...taking money from people who don't realize they can monetize it or no longer exist and took over the rights to take the monetization money from him.

The jungle is a shithole. Its hot, its humid, there are bugs everywhere, its wet. I wouldn't be surprised if he booked a plane ticket out and never looked back.

YouTube doesn't steal creators money, they already have a good percentage share of revenue on any earnings you make on YPP . The owner of channel is probably not available at the moment because of some personal problems. Some people can take a break that long.
