I recently got an offer to post an guest blog, with link to their site, on my PR 0 autoblog site.
I accepted the offer and got $10 for that. Plus $12 for 1000 words article (-$9.5 for outsourcing it).

But the thing is i really do not understand why would someone pay for this?
From my SEO knowledge there is almost no value of such link.

Is my SEO knowledge that bad?

Maybe some company is paying for these links and the SEOs just need to get as much as possible links no matter how shitty they are.

I've had the same thing happen to me!

Make sure send them a list of all your sites that they can post on.

I regularly get $80 - $160 per article posted to some of my sites which are only PR 2s or lower!!

Sure a guest would pay but if you get it up to PR2 you will be getting a lot more money

Maybe in the eyes of the buyer they see it as an investment. For $10 they get to put related content on your site with a link to theirs, then they can build backlinks to that page. They won't have to worry about getting deindexed, sandboxed, or any of that stuff because it's not their domain.

It has happened to me several times.. if your blog looks like an authority website and is related to their site, then they buy links even if it is pr0. Why to worry about it.. take the money and do the work.. and use them as a lead and show your other websites to them, and get more money in.. Good luck..

Legitimate guest posters do not submit to autoblogs and they do not pay.
It sounds as if you accepted a paid post from someone that has no idea what they're doing.
