    Hello guys,

I am seeing that all the pages of a site in wordpress has the canonical tag to the same url that is loaded.

    For example:

    domain.com/post

In the code apears the canonical tag to domain.com/post

and in the other urls the same.

Why do they put canonical tags in each page to the same page?

There can be multiple urls leading to the same post, which can cause duplicate pages to get indexed. Canonical tags tell the search engines which is the main URL that should be considered and indexed.
