I see nothing in the BHW TOS that prohibits anything I discussed, so why the removal without even a PM from a mod? I'm happy to be directed to the relevant section in case I missed something, but it was an innocent enough query, and a topic that has been broached in the past. Can a mod shed some light on the situation?

Send me a PM and delete this thread if you like, I just want to understand the rationale behind the removal.

I've had threads of mine deleted as well, and I have no idea why. But we're not allowed to ask why... This thread will be deleted soon too.

Hmmm, interesting. I simply asked whether anyone here had joined other forums...the three sites I mentioned are not related to SEO, so I don't see the big deal. Strange, I thought this was the lounge where we could chat about whatever.

People did say in that thread that it is against the rules to promote other forums and I think BHW takes the view that discussing other forums is indirectly promoting them.
I do sort of agree that it isn't a big deal BUT what happens is other people WILL start discussions about other forums just to promote them.
I think your other thread was a genuine query but it is probably something that should be kept to a Skype group etc.
BTW, one of the forums you mentioned, I had not heard about and it does look interesting, so thanks.

Who uses the above words for promotion? They are all the time part of joke or sarcasm, from wherever I have seen them till now.
