Short question: Is there any reason why I should start unfollowing before I hit 7500 follows?
Because it doesn't look good. It might deter people from following you
Because 7500 is the max you can follow
because you need to follow 7500 new ppl
I also do that, the reason being that it gives the impression that you're just a spammer if you don't.
Simple marketing. Don't neglect your audience. If you want people to follow you, don't have account looking spammy. It's supposed to look real.
You just start looking spammy
There are some guidelines for Twitter. But we're talking about Instagram in the Instagram section of the forums.
Ok, I buy the "don't look spammy" argument. So what ratio between followers and follows do you guys recommend?
Ok, I didn't know that. I just took the number 7500 out of the blue. Lucky me!
Yes, I do. But why start the unfollowing process BEFORE I hit the 7500 mark? Why not just start it once I am there? But I understand now from the other replies that It makes my account look spammy and I accept that.
Answer: in order not to make your account(s) look like garbage.
NAh that is just Strategy, there are ppl that reach the 7500 limit then start unfollowing, there are ppl that dont like to do that... my recommendation, hit the 7500 mark then after that start unfollowing till 500, then start followin again till 7500.
Is it ok to unfollow many days in a row? It doesn't increase the risk of getting flagged or so?
Well i usually unfollow for 2-3 days, sometimes even 5.... what flags the account is doing follow and unfollow same day... but older accounts with some authority can do follow unfollow same day without problem.
is that okay if we set follow until get 6K following.. and then start unfollow in next 2days ? because MP support suggest ratio between following and unfollowing 0.5%
if you running a lot of accounts, i would suggest following 10-20% more people you unfollow. e.g. set massplanner to follow 350max. and unfollow 250max. I recommend this method because you don't have to change settings so often. Btw. don't let your instagram account do more than 1000 actions every day.
The less you follow the better. Ideally 0, but at least try to stay within 1-999.
0 is far from Ideal, you must be a beginner. By following 0 Accounts you show that you are arrogant as fuck and people will be less willing to follow you, since they now that you won't follow back.
yes, probably start unfollow when get 5000 or 6000
