Why some people need external motivation and whine so much and others just bite the bullet and do the work?!?

Random thought (personal theory from own experience)

People who worked hard labour in the past like agriculture, construction, maybe come from a tough environment or had a rough childhood and then switch to IM (any kind) are willing to put the work more and complain less. Is it because those times were far harder than having some step-backs/failures and the need to rework the system or approach a new venture? Also, it's easier for them to let go of something that doesn't work and they take radical decisions easier without thinking too much.

Myself, I don't think it has to do with genetics, more with the past experiences and the motivation to improve the quality of life knowing that some failures in IM don't even come closer with the past.

Is it something that you experienced in your IM journey, what are your thoughts on this?

IMO it comes down to how people structure their lives - those who can get the work done have a more streamlined lifestyle which allows them to easily knuckle down and focus. Everything from the food they eat, friends, abstinence from substances all plays a role from my experience

It's because they're habitually used to working hard. When you're used to working hard all the time then it's easy to do other things that are hard.

If you're used to being lazy all the time then even something as simple as writing an article seems like a lot of work.

Nicely said. Yes, discipline comes from hard work sometimes

Yes, it gets engrained in your ADN getting your ass off and start the work no matter what.

I truthfully believe that it just really depends on the kind of person you are. It also depends on how bad you are looking to accomplish your goals. Do you want to know why people who typically do have those types of jobs, don't care about putting in the time? Because they are hungry for success and understand that hardwork is how you acheive a finished product.

Someone who grew up with not being able to have 3 meals a day or eat quality food will appreciate that, things like that can change for them if they put in a little extra time. They understand that not everyone has equal footing, lets be honest, some of us DID have good family lives and got whatever we want so we became spoiled / entitled.

I happened to be at one point one of those people who thought the world owed him something and I was entitled to the rewards without the work. Now that I am older and become a father I understand what it's like to not have things but appreciate life now that it is better because of the work I put in. The world owes us nothing and no one is going to help us acheive our goals better than ourselves. We have to be our biggest cheadleaders and motivators because all of you have the potential to be anything you want in life!

Why do some people have to wake up over night to go on toilet and some of them don't :)

I'll give my experience.

I've had some shitty hard working kind of jobs since the times that I was self employed and doing online work.

Honestly some of the jobs were awful long hours, back breaking work with no appreciation from the bosses even if you went above and beyond.

I am getting back into the IM game because
1. I enjoyed it
2. For the extra money
3. Because I want to succeed with something that I've built.
4. Im also sick of making other people rich.

Problem is when your breaking your balls doing manual labour jobs for 12 hours a day, i personally find it difficult to motivate my self when I'm home.

I'll have a bath, have dinner then boot my laptop up. By that point I'm goosed and I even though I've thought about doing IM all during my shift when it comes down to it I struggle to get as much as I'd like done. Especially content writing.

Maybe my mindset is all wrong, but I'm going to continue to chip away at my sites over the coming months.

Motivation is garbage
Rise early and plan your day ahead

Some people don't need motivation, others are lazy and sometimes do need that motivation.
What I say to people is;
Set realistic expectations and benchmarks.

If you need motivation, have a photo of something you aspire to.
This could be a car, a holiday to the Maldives, a bigger/new house etc.

Motivation is what took me from 42k a year to 120k a year. My motivation was my wife and kids. <3

This is just the kind of thing people don't appreciate when they are young, free and single and are looking to earn more to piss up against a wall.

Congrats by the way.

I appreciate you greatly. I feel that motivation is what is needed when things get hard because the road to success is never easy! Motivation also helps people to continue to strive for better. I know I can always improve and grow.

There is this promotional trend from gurus that want you to believe that IM is easy to achieve (for their own pockets).
So, plenty of people get scammed but still yearning for the easiness.
Real IM is as hard as any other business and you won't take off unless you put into it what is needed.

I think it's just because of how pressed your to the wall. How desperately u want to achieve your goals in life.

Even people who come from tough background get lazy when they taste success. There isn't a universal explanation I feel.

Who moved my cheese is a good book that explain this
While the rat keep searching for cheese, the dwarf keep complaining and create useless motivational word that waste of time
