i made game guide for a month, but later google suspend my app so fast

usually when my apps reach 1k-5k install

do you guys have tried for backup ads? admob + startapp
i hve friend he use backup ads for wallpaper apps,
so if this app got banned by google, backup ads still showing and made a money ,
just made startapp ads showing when user click back button btw,
but this trick made a lil bit money, cause startapp rate is low based by cpm, not cpc,
atleast he still payout a month for 100k app install wallpaper app(banned), don't know about user active , but he got $70 for a month,

Yes, in my ios games I put Chartboost ads as first option, and if they are not available then show Admob. And I can turn ads off and on ads in Chartboost dashboard when I want. Now all CB ads are switched off as their ecpm was much lower than admob, but in case I need I can turn them back immediately, without updating an app.
You HAVE to do such backup.

do you mean switch off ads , using mediation? or programmatically on app?

I switch Chartboost ads campaign on/off from my Chartboost dashboard.
In app, if CB ad is served it will be shown, if CB ad is not served (I turned them off) then admob ad is shown.
You just do it opposite, where admob is main option. If admob ads will be disabled you can turn on CB and continue to earn

correction, i mean he payout $70 for month by startapp, from 100k app install before banned

I turned off all Chartboost ads in my games, because Admob has higher ecpm.
Didn't tried FB...

Do you guys promote your apps at all? I've released two games I made from scratch and it's become very obvious that they won't perform well if I just upload them and leave then alone. One has gotten about 50 installs in 5-6 months and the other one I just uploaded a week or two ago has only 1 install.

I'm thinking I might try just making a bunch of small games in hopes that @vinku is right and some just perform well while others don't. But any tips or thoughts are appreciated (except the ones about gplay not being worth it, I don't buy that it's dead)

i'm not yet trying paid promtoe for apps, but friend of mine trying for google adwords to get 1k download and he said now app is ranking on playstore.
