I have a blogger blog that has 30+ posts about a few weeks old, and none of the keywords I'm aiming for are ranking. It is almost as if the posts are not even indexed but of course I search the post on Google and they are indexed but just not ranking. It would be one thing is some keywords were not ranking but others were, but it seems as if every keyword can not be found. But a tumblr blog I created about the same stuff is coming up fairly high in serps for same keywords? The thing is I have actually done a little link pyramid SEO for this blogger blog so I figured at least a couple keyword results would be showing up maybe in top 20 pages or something but nothing. What might be wrong?

If the kw has big competition you can't rank well with blogger and without seo.
And if your content is not unique forget for ranking.
    My advice:
    - Check your on-page seo.
    - Monitoring your blog with any serp tool, to be sure about your positions.
    - Do link buikding.

And if it's possible try to go on own host with own cms(wp is good).

    Hope this helps. :)

Have you sent enough quality links to the blog? The only way for google to find your site is to submit it manually or build a link from another site that is crawled. Link quality > Link quantity.

Even if you are ranking in google, you can't just expect to make a blog and rank in the top 10 without some effort.

Yeah I built manual web2.0s for the tier 1 and then lots of tier 2 including wikis that were unique, It's not that I expect keywords to be all in top 10, it's that none are ranking at all even ones that are really low competition. And like I said I had a tumblr with even less backlinks way less and the competitive keywords are ranking well for it ? I'm just confused.

Why don't you tell us the niche you are in? If it's anything to do with finance (loans), health, diet, weight loss, etc ... then you will have hard time ranking high ... these niches are very competitive and without big budget for links you may have no chance in ranking ... :(

It's in the precious metals niche, I have never had a keyword that would not rank in like the top 100 pages, I have 30+ keywords I'm trying to rank on this blog but none are showing up

Are you kidding? Read his posts once again and everybody too. He is talking about something different. He is ranking well his tumblr blog with less backlinks and etc than his blogger in same niche.

to OP: Maybe these backlinks with pyramid SEO arent good :)
