Why not FB Message Campaigns instead of DM Mass?

Today I will start testing messaging campaigns in Facebook Ads. With so many problems, blocks, deactivated accounts, etc about conversion campaigns, I believe we need to think about alternatives that are below Facebook's traditional radar.

There are some services in the Marketplace offering mass DM sending, in general they sell 20000 messages for $3 each 1000. From what I read, the vast majority of these messages are not read and end up as spam.

I'll test to see the cost per message in FB Ads, but I'm guessing it's a much hotter lead and the chances of sales are higher than sending DM-spam to random people. I also trust FB Ads targeting more than questionable scraper service.

Does anyone have experience with FB Ads message campaigns to know the average cost per message and conversion rate for a sale?

Let's say: in an ad for a dropshipping product low/medium-ticket, the cost per message at the start (non-optimized campaign) is $0.30. With $30 we will get 100 messages viewed. With a conversion of 2% that would be 2 sales, it would be something scalable over time. I suppose it's not so unrealistic, whoever clicks must be interested.

" they sell 20000 messages for $3 each 1000."
so they sell 20000 for $60?

whatever, it's not the purpose of the thread, in the marketplace there are exact values

The messenger campaign is very rooted and it will last a long time. results from FB ads are always better than other ways because it has direct interaction from customers instead of annoying them with spam messages
