I have to admit, I am insomnic and fuking nocturnal!!!

I cannot seem to work before 9PM ( YES!! thats nine at night) no matter how early I get up.

Come midnight, my brain is fresh and I am ready to work and almost without fail, all my best ideas have come past mid night.

I dont know what it is. Maybe its because its peaceful at night, no cars outside, everything is nice, surreal, peaceful and quiet!!

Anyone else here have the same lifestyle as me?

    lol

I am also this way...It cuz your body winds down and your mind is still going on...So your brain has less to worry about so you can focus on what you want too

Your best ideas come at night because you are awake. ;)

Same with me. I get more accomplished between midnight and 4 AM, than I do at any other time. The wife and kids are asleep, the house is quiet, and I'm not interrupted with "Honey, can you do this?" and "Dad, Mom wants you to go do...".

The rest of the time, I just as well play tiddly-winks, because just as soon as I get started on something, I get interrupted, and my train of thought completely derails.

    I love night time. :)

I'm also that way, I do my best work between 8pm and 4-5am. In fact working 9 to 5 jobs used to suck for me mostly because of the hours, I never thought straight in the morning and always liked working at night more. Now that I left the 9-5 world and get to decide my own hours, I usually am up between 1pm and 5am. Its nice because on nights I go out to bars and clubs my sleep schedule doesn't get ruined either :)

I'm also like that. My best ideas come around midnight. Try as I might, I can't really get anything done before ~10pm.

I couldn't agree more. I've been full time in IM for a few months and I finally gave in to what works for me. I stay up all night and work (usually :D) and I sleep during the day.

It's the body clock -- I'm one of those guys that wakes up (mentally) when others hit the sack.

The sun outside scares me :D

I was talking to my dad about how I'm a late sleeper and my dad said to me. "No your not, you have a complete time reversal" LOL

What caused my dad to say the above is when I would stay up until 6am and wake up around 3-6pm. * this was on winter break.

Now a days I typically go to bed now at 3am wake up 9-10am depending on the day during on the week or even on the pm weekends. Sometimes I just don't sleep for maybe 1 - 3 days.

Also, I find my best ideas come around 12am - 3 am.

I feel the same way. I don't get people that love bright, sunny days. They give me a headache. I'm so much more creative and focused when it's dark and gloomy. Maybe I need professional help :D
