Why is someone trying to log into a forum with my username?

    I just got notified that someone has unsuccessfully attempted 5 x in a row to log into a forum that i am a member of. For this forum my username is my full name. Why are they doing this and what should i do? I obv dont want them posting under my name!

    Why are you worried? If they were "Unsuccessful attempts"...

    You can change your password to a safe one.. like "AbCdE3)3=lOp" I dont think someone can crack that. Nothing else you (as a user) can do.

    If you suspect someone is logging to your forum try to change your password its the best way create a strong password like numbers and password and don't use this password for other accounts/ forums

    yes you can create such strong password by using some special characters.. no one can find that easily... and you no need to worry about unsuccessful attempts !!!!!
