I have a pretty new site 3 months and some the kws are dancing around between page 5 and top 300.

I noticed the kw words are ranking my homepage and not the respective pages Im trying to rank.

Im building links to the respective pages so I dont know what the problem is.

    Any help is much appreciated

Are your posts indexed? Go to Google and search site:yoursiteurl.com . If you can see all of your post in the search result, then it means your post are indexed and you probably have to take a look at your On-page , if not, then you have to get them indexed first

    All the pages are there.

Looking at On-page the inner pages have more relevant text to its respective kw. How else should I approach the On-page?

Approach it in terms of keyword density and duplicate contents

Try using social social signals to your internal pages. These social signals can drive traffic to site and will increase the inner pages ranking. It may take longer to rank which also depends to the authority of your domain.
