Why is it when someone asks stupid questions they get tons of answers?

Over and over I see threads that ask questions about how to make $100 a day or something and expect to get spoon fed, but somehow manage to get hundreds of answers. When someone like me is beyond a type of question like that and ask for some real advice I get nothing?

Seriously though stupid questions are easy to answer. Hard questions are hard to answer, there fore less be respond to hard questions

I know what you mean. I ask questions and very rarely get an answer. but if someone asks a ? on how to make money they get a stupid answer like go mow lawns. I thought this forum was about helping each other out.. And I understand that no one is going to hand over their golden goose, but how about some constructive advice instead of ripping someone down cause they want to learn how to make money online. You know EVERYONE started out as a noob. So why treat a NOOB like shitz just cause they asked for help...

There's a BIG difference between asking for help/advice and asking stupid/noob-ish questions.

Most questions that make at least some sense do get answered. 99% of the questions that don't get answered or get cocky comments fall into one of the two categories:

    1. an answer to the question can be found by using Google for 30 seconds.

    2. the person expects to be spoon fed and/or is asking generic questions like "how can i make $500 by next month. I really need it to pay my bills"

Saying that "we've all started out like this" is ridiculous. Those that start out like this need to get very lucky to accomplish anything in their lives. Those that have eventually "made it" have indeed started out as newcomers, but almost never as people who go on forums asking questions that fall into one of the two categories above.

It's true, it's easier to answer a stupid question. As they say "as a stupid question, get a stupid answer" - it's a lot easier to give a stupid answer, and it takes less time too. Also, people who have valuable information are less likely to want to hand it over. So you might get fewer answers, but the chances are when you get one it will be worth listening to.

In order to find partners to work with in a joint venture or sell something on the forum, you need posts and reputation. That might stop spammers or a minority of scammers but it does not stop noobs. Naturally, this breeds a culture of people wanting to have a good reputation, users will post answers to questions no matter how stupid it is and noobs will usually click thanks or add reputation.

Having said that most ridiculously stupid questions like "how can i make money?" aren't answered. I personally don't know where you got the idea that stupid questions are being answered here, this isn't a completely noob friendly place. If you're a complete noob at internet marketing, you most likely won't be able to find someone to help you.
