why is it happening on youtube?

    sometimes when u user clicks a link in the description yt doesn't send him directly to the link

    it sends hi to the page like " The previous page directed you to link.com. If you don't want to visit it go back to youtube" blabla
    why is it happening?

    to avoid phishing, I could redirect you to a page like youtube and requesting you the pass

    em. why is it happening like only on 5% of the videos and 95% times they allow users to go directly to the list? doesn't make sense

    They have probably blacklisted many domains due to spam, the ones that are not abusing the system they allow the visitor to visit without going through the redirect.

    This happens to every link on YouTube for me and it's been like that for months.

    This is new to everyone else? Also it happens on internal YT pages which is kind of weird.

    I think when your link gets a certain amount of clicks & users approve it (e.g. they click again to go to the destination) then it stops asking this approval stage.

    Obviously "trusted" links are okay. Although this doesn't mean that if you shorten your URL with "Google URL shortener" that it stops this approval process.
