    Be patient. Just because Googlebot visited you doesn't mean it re-indexed your site.

    Give it time, Google hasn't reindexed your site yet and seen the changes. Do what others have send in this thread and do the /addurl and you should see changes in the next couple days

    Just resubmit your site. The easiest way is to use one of these crappy little ' free website submission ' services. Resubmit your site and you'll be crawled in a day or so.

    Ping and resubmit your site so that the new content can be indexed on an overhaul like that because it simply doesn't know you are there and it may not find it, even in re-crawling your page.

    All of my sites are crawled every 24-72 hours, depending on the content and the bot that is crawling at the time. If it is an immediate updating style bot that pulls content such as twitter and facebook style posts, then it is obviously faster. If it is a standard content update and log bot, it will appear every 48-72 hours from the time I post it. The latter is the norm for most people.

    Be sure and let them know it is there so that they know to crawl and look for your new content, otherwise, they will hold the cashed content until the next time you resubmit for something down the line.

    Check the google cache, if the page in the cache is the old page then you need to wait for google to refresh the cache if the page is your new page but the description is the old description then you have to check if your site is listed in dmoz if you are listed in dmoz the put the following metatag in your pages

    Code:
    <meta name="robots" content="noodp">

    That's interesting. Do you have a site in dmoz? It is one of the hardest directories to get into with anything less than a pr5. At least that is my experience with them. I have less than 20 properties that have listed with them out of my whole network, as the people that run it are so freakin' picky and disapprove people as to how they feel on the day, not as to the site's value and content.
