There are a lot of people on the internet especially on DP that are afraid of plagiarism and they are very concerned with rights... PLR, MMR shit like that.

Whenever you sell something like an article they keep asking for the rights...

What's the big deal?... I mean there's nothing serious that can happen if you sell content that's not yours and doesn't have the necessary rights.. right?

There are a lot of pussies out there....

I posted this here because I know that I can get some reasonable answers. People here aren't pussies like those from DP lool

If you sell content that's not yours, you can get sued for copyright infringement, plagiarism or even fraud (for making them think it's yours). Depending on who you steal from, and if they have a legal team, different things will happen. A regular writer will probably just spam your email inbox and tell you what a douchebag you are, while a major corporation might drag your ass to court, depending on the level of infringement.

Well depending on "whos" content / stuff you sold / took / used they can really make your life hell.

And why there might not be too many illegal things about it, some people have enough money to take you to court for years, which will drain you. The legal system can be hell when someone has more money then you and they are pissed.

But if that does not worry you, then nothing will be in your way to resell some resale mmr items

Yeah I know that's pretty obvious... I'm not saying that you should buy something from a big organisation and sell it..

But if you sell something that belongs to a nobody who probably didn't even legally copyrighted his projects.. then there's nothing serious can happen. lol

and one other thing.. I deal with a lot of people that live 1000s of kilometers away from me who are not even in the same country and who are not even in the same continent... lofl I don't think it's worth it to sue someone that lives on the other side of the world for reselling a $10 article or e-book that belongs to him XD

Some of it may be how much they need to rework it to resell it.

even copywrited stuff can be repackaged and sold.

but there will be more work involved than if you have the right to resell it as it is.

may not be worth it to you? Well then leave your money on the table. Jesus for crap court cases people make a damn living off of that.

If they live on the other side of the world let me ask you what can 10k do for them? How long can they live off of 10k?

A lawyer can really pack on the extra dough. They would be able to pull out more charges then copyright charges.

Possibilities are endless undo emotional pain and suffering blah blah blah. Now if I lived in another content and 10k - 20k I could live off of for a year or 2 I would most definitely in a heartbeat go after you.

So go ahead and take the risk.

All because you wanted to steal a 10.00 article. Yeah that is pretty damn low dude.

Honestly if it was me and you tried to steal my work I would not prosecute you. There would be no court.

Wait yeah there would be a court. The court and the jury would be me.

I would come to your house and personally deal with the matter . Take pictures of the whole charade then include them in my next ebook :/

Well, as far as I know, in USA and most European countries all "work" is considered copyrighted as soon as you put it on paper, in writing, whether you register it with the copyright office or not. So just because someone hasn't "legally" copyrighted something, they can still sue you if they can prove that they published the work before you.

And I don't know...I'd probably be considered what you call a "nobody" in IM, but if I saw someone stealing my work, I'd definitely pull some strings and come knocking on your door...done it before, and will do it again.

    zmoker...

I am guessing that you have never written some great original content and had it stolen? Or someone else used it for profit and credit (instead of you). Or is it in spite of you?

The rights of others are always easy to dismiss unless you have been in their shoes and been on the other side...

Some call it empathy, some call it wisdom, either way, we learn that "some people get it, and some just don't"
