Funny because I had the same question in my head today !

You can target few competitors but no all of them, I really can't understand why !

For exemple both are "community" page competitors, one I can target (with promoted post), the other I can't.
For me they are similar... almost the same number of fans, almost the same age page, the same category...

I've had this problem many times. Before I was able to do this but FB has limited this option as of late.

So I just find related pages and target them instead. Not all of them will show up in the interest option but don't let that discourage you. Just continue to search for more pages if your potential reach is too low.

perhaps we can edit the hmtl before send the promoted post

each interest has something like that

    <span aria-label="nike football" title="nike football" class="_5aab" data-reactid=".nw.1.0.3.0.$4.1.0.0.0.0.0:$6003566603318.0">nike football</span>

I try to understand how to change the data-reactid after the $ to the one I want. It's not the ID of the page :/
