i'm on a mac. sometimes this happens when i convert from another format to pdf. i manually go into the link or the text and insert the url again. its bit tedious and there may be a faster way...

well, i'm not familiar with cutepdf, i use pdfpen on my mac.
once i open the pdf in pdfpen, if it's text...i select the text and do an insert url. if its an image...then i do an image map which is select the area of the image and then insert url.
so even if your text is an image like a scan then you would treat it as an image map.

if it doesnt work, try opening a new blank pdf file and add some text. then select part of the text and do an insert url. then once you got it go back to your actual document and do the same.

I installed CutePDF and made it the default because windows xp was hanging when it tried to open a PDF. I get the same result as you, my links do not work in CutePDF but they do work in Adobe. Never bothered to find out why.

Check out print2pdf (server edition). The links have always worked for me.

Be sure to scan any files you download at virustotal.com before installing.

I don't think CutePDF supports links...if it does, I believe that you have to type out the link and include the h t t p:// part as well. Try that.

If not, can you export it to PDF another way? Not sure what editor you are using.

Did you make it a hyperlink before converting? If you do not it will not work in the pdf [I have not found it to work]
