why homepage not indexed...

    Domain name was registered one year ago and website updated on July.
    site:homepage url it shows 71,200 results and title and descriptions all updated
    The weird thing is i can't find homepage on first 10 pages and also the same case when i searched homepage URL
    We didn't do much link building....

    thats weird, not sure why that would happen...ill ask my friend and see if he can lend any insight and let you know

    i also asked my friend to look into the codes on homepage. he is experienced in this but he also has no idea ...

    A few reasons for this,
    - Your robots.txt files are blocking the crawlers
    - Your homepage is not discoverable (due to lack of backlinks)
    - You home page isn't listed in the Sitemap
    - Your homepage is having dupe content which is why Google is not indexing it.

    Thanks, i discovered days ago there was nofollow tag on homepage...that can explain why it got PR1 before July update and lost it
