This post is short and to the point... made for idiots (aka noobs). Just kidding about the idiots... well actually, most of the noobs are. Ok.

Reason 1: Five bucks is the lowest amount of money worth making from a sale. Sure you can sell ebooks for pennys, but if you have enough traffic for that to be profitable this thread probably is not for you.

Reason 2: On fivver you can get a sense of what people want in the bigger areas of IM, whats popular, whats selling, and what people like. I mean.. it doesnt go as deep as the true potential, but that would overwhelm anyone and this is a great start.

Reason 3: You can actually make a good deal of money ($100 a day for 1-2 hours of work) if you just research, twist, create. Fiverr teaches you this form, and you will find it applies to all online marketing. Basically. If you can do Fiverr, you should have the bug... and once you have the bug, well learning IM is self perpetuating.

Tip: Understand that near everything on Fiverr has been made to be as easy as possible for the supplier to provide. When I truly realized this I started making money... $5 logos? That dude is using a couple of nice looking templates and swapping out the text in seconds to finish your order. 30 page in depth seo report? That dude has software that makes the report in a second. These are obvious to most, but if you search around the site and always remember "as easy as possible for the provider", you can do some googling and look into software you never knew existed, or bulk services that could be turned into individual fiverr gigs. It feels pretty awesome when you figure out how someone is doing a gig for so cheap on a massive scale. If you can crack the fiverr code, you should be able to move onto bigger IM projects successfully.

I understand this wont be useful for many but I hope it opens peoples eyes up and teaches people to not follow a step by step guide but rather use a simple one website platform to open the gates of IM.

Bonus Tip: If your gilfriend says she hates dubstep, have her sit on your subwoofer.

Fiverr is a goldmine. 20% fees are yucky though

Fiverr is a great place to start, it is where I made my first money online. But the 20% fee is really discouraging, I think they should lower it.

Yes, fiverr is great, but I suggest you should move on when you have made enough money.

You are being ripped off 20% for every order.

That is not including paypal fees

It's better to give out 20% for getting a lot of extra sales rather than earning 100% without any sale.

Just think a fiverr like an affiliate that help driving traffic to your product/service

fiver is a fail imho. Why spend all that time to doing work for someone when you can just do it for yourself and make more at the end of the day?

+1 Every one complain about the 20%, but what about the traffic? Who brings the traffic (which is the most important factor for any sales)? 99% from the fiverr sellers do not even promote their gigs. Fiverr offer huge amount of traffic and some smart people are making over $500/day which do not sound like a fail.

I believe you are missing the whole point of fiverr.

If you are offering backlinks.... that means you have done all the backlinking to your sites that can be done.... and you have time left over and you can put your system to good use and make a bit extra on backlinks.
money that you would not have made.

Most people can backlink their site to death and not make more than $5 a day....
but they can sell backlinks on fiverr and make $100 a day...

business-to-business in my experience has always been very stable and profitable.

that is what fiverr brings to the table... a platform for the transaction to take place.

20% is just the cost of doing business.

I definitely agree with a few other posters that Fiverr is a potential goldmine. Obviously, everything is only $5 there, and people are a lot more willing to open up their wallet and drop $5 on a service, as oppose to dropping $100+ from legitimate SEO providers and such. I personally don't use Fiverr for any SEO type work, cause I know most of it is crap, and $5 won't get you far. But there are so many people on Fiverr who do not realize that, and just see "$5, get 30 .edu backlinks" and they order right away.

I'm going to try my luck with Fiverr and see if I can make some money on there. Obviously, it's a numbers game. Gotta automate most of the work if you want to hit $xxx+ a day.

Everything the OP said is true man. I started Fiverr exactly 1 month ago (seriously anyway) I have made over 1k in sales. My work day is about 2 hours every few days. Its good for quick money while you are working on your long term income. Fiverr income isnt stable so it teaches you how IM income will be. Some people cant handle money not being stable....Fiverr.com is a great place to get some serious bank if you can find whats hot.

Yeah! Fiverr is one of the best place to start IM. It gave me the initial motivation to start my IM journey. I have 3 seller accounts and i agree with GunzZ if you have a cool gig and a video to promote thats more than enough. You will get orders automatically.

Can someone teach me the ways of the Fiverrmaster? I tried fiverr for 2 months and only made $20. I was doing sound editing type of stuff.. ringtones.. chipmunk voices.. just anything involving sound I guess and I was rated pretty good and fast and had the insta delivery option become available on my work.. but still no work

    Teach me for $5? rofl
