Why everyone crazy about clawdbot or moltbot?

A lot of the hype comes from the idea that these bots represent how search engines and AI systems are evolving, not because the bots themselves directly boost rankings.

People pay attention to Clawbot / Moltbot mainly because they’re often associated with AI crawlers, data collection, or large-scale content analysis, which hints at where indexing and retrieval might be heading.

That said, I think some of the excitement is overblown. Seeing a new bot in logs doesn’t automatically mean ranking gains or losses. What still matters more is whether your site is:
  • Crawlable and well-structured
  • Providing content that answers intent clearly
  • Easy to process for both humans and machines
Bots change, fundamentals don’t. Logs are signals, not guarantees.

Curious how others interpret these bots early warning signs, or just noise?

I'm not sure about all those local AI solutions, im a little bit afraid of all of its integrations, I'd rather have some paid AI that I use through a browser than installing some agent that might be connected in some way to different servers sharing my stuff :)

If it can analyse and handle SEO on a daily basis, wouldn’t that be cheaper than hiring an SEO agent?

People are talking about ClawdBot and MoltBot because they’re AI tools that aim to automate tasks and speed up workflows but experiences vary, and real value usually comes from how you use them, not just the tool itself.
