I am always checking out the sales threads in the marketplace looking for quality services ....you know SEO, content creation etc.....and one of the things that really turns me off is when the sales page is full of grammatical errors.....I think WTF this dude can't even present himself in a professional manner ....do I really want him promoting my sites?......lmao....the way I see it is like this .....why hurt your sales by showing you don't care what your sales page looks like to potential customers why not take the brief amount of time it takes to make sure your sales copy is grammatically correct?.....just seems real sloppy and lazy to me and first impressions are everything....anyway just wondered what you all thought about that?

Also....maybe that could be some awesome new service......proof reading sales pages......just an idea

as you know they outsource their sales design...so maybe some dont cross check but one can make out from the service they are offering whether it is brokered or their own :)

Not everyone is from an English-speaking country, but yes, grammar could use some proofreading in a lot of threads :)

A lot of them don't speak English very well. On top of that, a lot of them don't care about making their sales thread perfect because they think their bold headings will grab people's attention and then their reviews will vouch for their service.

I understand they do not speak English but they are marketing to English speaking people right?......it would take very little effort to get it right that is all I am saying.....it might give them an edge

Most sellers are from 3rd world countries. English is not their native language. And why does it matter anyway?

A lot of SEO sellers are Indian and may not have perfect English. Who really gives a shit? Look at BigBuddy, that guy is a legend, but his English isn't amazing, it's good. Who cares though, his services are top notch, and he's a legend here on BHW.

Ok first of all you just signed up for this forum and the first post you jump on is this one??????....kinda strange to say the least...

second thing is I was pretty sure I explained why it matters....but for your benefit I will explain it again ok real slow....

here is the scenario....I am looking to hire someone to write some awesome content for my brand new site so I hop on over to BHW to find someone to do just that and I love this forum so I support it....well I scan through the marketplace and I read the sales thread and the majority of them can't even use proper English grammar in their sales copy...now that doesn't really build confidence in their ability to produce "high quality" content for my new site does it?????

I hope that makes sense to you but if not just create another account and ask a new question ok? lol

I did not say it was a big problem...I said it turns me off from trusting their abilities to do their job that's all and that it would take very little effort to get it right ....you see?

Time costs money. They lose money trying to save time by creating errors and cutting down on customer support.
