i see lots of people who want 10 or 20 MNS, so my question is why dont people just make 1 site with a generic domain name.....

then create 20 pages on that site and dedicate each page to 1 keyword so that page with rank in google for its own keyword

so then you will have 20 sites in 1 and only have to pay for 1 domain name and 1 hosting? but you obviously can get EMD's

im a newb so sorry if that a dumb question, but would that not be logical?

Lol that's the thought process that I see all newbs make...

Well it's true. The most popular sites are very big and they rank for thousands of keywords. However, it's much easier to rank an EMD.

My advice? One site per topic with approx 200-300 pages. Those are the sites that have the highest performance and are not too difficult to manage IMO.

Because usually micro niche keywords have nothing to do between them, so it's quite weird to have a website about chocolate and medical supplies for example.

how would u create 200 pages on a MNS, what would be the content for all these pages?

You make a 200 page site about a topic (ex. health), not all about one keyword. A lot of people do this. It is not recommended for newbs because it takes more work and the money comes in slower than with an micro niche site. Newbs are more likely to give up if money doesn't come in quickly. With micro niche sites you get to test out niches and different types of keywords and see them rank fairly quickly and see money fairly quickly. It is a perfect learning ground. If a newb chooses a topic for a large site without knowing anything about what niches are profitable it will take a long time for them to understand what is happening with their site that they worked so hard on and why they aren't making the money they expect.

I have a few general sites but it takes more work to get a general site to rank than it does a topic based site or a micro niche site because Google has a harder time determining what your site is about.

So, to answer your question, lots of people do this with large, broad topic sites. I don't know of many people who do SEO who don't do this. If you want to do it, go ahead. Just know that there are some risks and rewards will come later than with micro niche sites.

Ok Fine the question you asked is pretty good but the thing is that Big G listens to none and suppose if there is some problem with your authority site and its gets de-indexed then your income will be stopped completely as you have dedicated whole of your time and effort in building that site. But if you buy different MNS and monetize each with more preferable and profitable ways then if by a chance one or two sites gets down then it will hardly effect your wallet.

First start with MNS as they are easy to rank for when you get the EMD, Make money, build authority websites.

My suggestion would be to start with the micro niche sites at first, and get a feel for it all.
You will find that sometimes keywords you thought would be profitable simply aren't.
This is a good way to gauge if a niche is worth building a much larger authority site.
If you find a profitable niche with your micro niche site, then just expand that site into something larger.

This is how I started, and it actually worked out pretty well for me.
Like LBrown said, building large authority sites takes a strong stomach.
There is a lot of work and money that needs to be put into them, and it can take some time to see results.

yeh, i hate to admit it but im the kinda guy who needs to see a result in 1 or 2 weeks or i start to have doubts and give in
