I have seen that even big creators complain that YouTube kills the reach of their channels after 3-4 years max. Why does YouTube do this? What is their intention behind this or what benefit they get?

I'm sure it's because of shorts
They have polluted everything and creators that make good content are not pushed forward

Shorts really has made life of traditional creators hard. The attention span of viewers is decreasing because of these shorts.

I think it’s usually audience interest changing over time rather than YouTube intentionally killing old channels. The algorithm focuses on viewer response, topic interest and competition.

But I have seen some very good creators also facing this. They have not comprmised on quality any way.

this has less to do with the fact that the channel is old nd more to do with the content being less relevant to the current generation. utube will keep doing experiments with videos deppending on how people respond to them, so if recently uploaded videos get low CTR nd retention rates, reach might be affected.

Youtube is feeding what people are eating now a days. That is why they are pushing forward the creators whose contents eaten by people more. It is not about the channel it is about the audience I think.
YouTube doesn't automatically reduce your reach; that's because user behavior has changed and outdated content is no longer relevant to current needs.
The issue is not the aging of the channel but main is the viewers growing out of it. there will be no sense for youtube to promote videos which stopped being popular among the former audiences.

I don’t think YouTube intentionally kills old channels. Usually it’s more about audience interest, CTR, retention, niche changes, and increased competition over time. If the content stops matching what viewers want, reach can naturally drop even on established channels.

Could just be that the channel has naturally lost some momentum over the years. Viewer habits, competition and what yt recommends all change, so even established channels can see their reach drop without yt actually suppressing them.

I don't think YouTube intentionally kills channels after 3-4 years. I think the audience and the algorithm simply change over time. If a channel's content stops matching what its viewers currently want, the reach can drop significantly. YouTube says recommendations are based heavily on viewer behavior and satisfaction, rather than the age of the channel.
old channels outstand can occur with outdate of the added captions and trend hashtag which differentiate between the new channel post/upload content,some channels include old do get outstand in search result of target keyword with low subscribers on channel to index in search list result.

Its happened maybe because of rules violations, one time i put one bitcoin profil pitcure on my youtube chanell, just after 2 weeks my account get closed

When a new channel posts a video, TB tests in on a completely fresh, unbiased audience of strangers who match the video's keywords, but when an old channel posts a video, the platform prioritizes testing it on your existing subscribers first.
