hey guys Why does GSA keep posting to no follow even i set it to post only to do follow?
Probably a better idea is to right click on the platform and uncheck platforms that make no follow links.
That option you are talking about looks at the nofollw/do follow links on the page and based on which one the page has more of, decides whether or not the link it would create is likely to be df/nf. So its not perfect.
ahhh thank you so much i didnt know there were platforms with only nofollow. i will uncheck those and see if i get better results
Thanks I had the same problem

Why are you only building Do-Follow links.
I can think of a thousand reasons why
because im thinking about making a fiverr gig with only do follow links
GSA is great, but it does have problems following the rules you saet it. It routinely breaks the page rank, OBL and follow rules I set it.
If I say "Min PR 3" most will follow this, but some slip though. Same with OBL and follow. Don't know why, but as variation is VITAL I don't care that much as long as it doesn't get out of hand
As a tiered linker though - for creating links for low competition sites or sencond or third tier with decent variation, it's second only to Xrumer - and a feck of a lot easier to use.
Too many follow links are DEADLY.
PREDICTION Googles next "animal named" update "Pelican" maybe? will be targetted at sites with an un-natural number of Follow links. Given that the internet is rapidly going no-follow, established sites and content management systems are swapping to nofollow all the time, any website that has over 30% follow links is looking more and more suspicious.
For now it will be a GREAT advantage - but I predict that it's such a massive sign of self promotion that Google will hammer that with ULN's or a bespoke update next.
For now - if you want to rank and bank short term ******** is the way to go. Google's patent on PR only has 22 months left to run
Stanford University patent No 6,285,999.
Method for node ranking in a linked database
...is used by Google under licence (Page rank is NOT Google's intellectual property - it is Stanford Universities, neither are any of the constructs used to support it)
Filed June 5th 1995 expires June 5th 2015 - As it has no national security or defence connotations there will be no Govt sanctioned extension to standard patent expiratrion date...
...at which point PR, follow, nofollow etc will mean sweet f^ck all anyway. Before that expect Google to clean house in preparation for a "similar" process. But this similar process cannot (and will not) be too similar to the current method (as any breaches of a method too similr to PR would
a) Be hard to get an individual patent for
b) Be very hard to police for copyright infringements in itself
I.e would be very hard to enforce in law if a competitor used something very similar. The competitor could claim "fair use" of the original PR as the original point of reference and muse for their new idea.
Same here. Sometimes, I encountered this type of problems.
